Welcome to the Tunisian Network of English Language Teaching

This site has originated from an initiative of the National Institute of Bureautics and Computing, a department within the Ministry of Education and Training - Republic of Tunisia. It has been online since 2000 thanks to the efforts of its successive webmasters.

The primary mission of the site is to build an online community of ICT-oriented EFL teachers and teacher trainers in order to help improve the quality of English language teaching in Tunisian state schools. Teachers are invited to join TNELT community and actively contribute to the progress of this endeavour by sharing teaching resources such as (ICT-based) lesson plans, authentic interactive language exercises and games, experiences in integrating ICT in teaching, collaborative projects, URLs, etc. Feel free to help furnish this site with materials relevant to English language teaching.

T-NELT is also meant to cater to some of the needs of CAPES candidates by offering them a range of teaching materials and resources, ideas and samples of ICT-based collaborative projects.

The earlier versions of TNELT had a space for pupils, the resources of which have remained very limited. For this reason, the pupil's space no longer occupies the middle column of the home page. TNELT focus will be on teachers. The virtual school is the appropriate learning space for pupils within EduNet portal.

We always look forward to your feedback and comments.
